Marco Rubio recently issued a memo titled “Return to Tradition: Times New Roman 14-Point Font Required for All Department Paper” requiring all State Department documents to stop using that “woke” font Calibri that he attributed to “misguided diversity, equity and inclusion policies” and return to the “cohesion, professionalism and formality” of Times New Roman. Putting aside the reactionary philistinism of the memo to switch back to using Times New Roman why use Times New Roman at all? Why not use a more appropriate like Garamond or Century Schoolbook why not Minion
